Joy of Life Photography is a Brampton, Ontario based wedding photographer serving the greater Toronto area. Photographer Joy Blackburn holds an MA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah Georgia and has been working in the industry for 6 years.

Joy loves the challenge of capturing the amazing, beautiful, and personal moments that are a part of every wedding. She loves finding those little unique things about each couple and highlighting them in her images. She especially loves working with clients who are unique, quirky, creative, and up for anything. Portrait & Family Photography

Christine shoots on location, be it in the comfort of your own home, your favorite park or down the beach! Many parents prefer their children to be photographed in their own natural environment as this is the best place to capture them as they are! On request of the client, images can be captured in her home studio. She aim’s to keep all sessions relaxed and simple and use natural light wherever possible.

 For NEWBORN sessions, the best time to call Christine is before your baby arrives so that she can prepare her schedule. Be sure to inform her once the baby is born (or shortly thereafter) so that she can set a date aside for you in the early weeks.  Please keep in mind that the optimum time to photograph newborns is in the first 2 weeks of life.  Christine likes to keep newborn sessions within this time frame as close as possible.

Pregnancy Photography

Having a baby?  Capture that moment forever with a stunning maternity photograph.

For PREGNANCY sessions, the best time to have your session is at 8 months.  You will have a nice size belly and still be comfortable during your session.
